About Lite Touch
Lite Touch MPS is a group of Nationally Certified professional phlebotomists with decades of experience in specimen collection services.
What’s a Phlebotomist?
A phlebotomist {fluh-bot-uh-mist} is a key member of a healthcare team, tasked with drawing blood from patients or donors. In addition to mastering clinical skills, they must also work well with people, offering comfort and reassurance to patients with a fear of needles or blood.
Who We Are
Lite Touch MPS was created by Founder and Lead Phlebotomist Christibell Alphonso, who decided in 2021 to become a part of the solution in the heathcare profession. She has over a decade of experience as a Nationally Certified Phlebotomist servicing institutions such as Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
There has become a large gap in the provision of medical services to patients that have mobility and time restrictions. Due to Covid-19, it has been extremely difficult for patients to receive their standing blood draw orders administered in a timely fashion.
Creating this service opens the medical access doorway to our clients. Our team strives to provide a safe and convenient solution for patients concerned about Covid-19 or other airborne pathogens. Our team is highly qualified and well-equipped to come to you to provide the specimen collection required by your healthcare provider.
We provide our services with the utmost sensitivity and concern for your privacy and well-being. Lite Touch specializes in geriatric patients, people with anxiety about blood draws and difficult sticks. We look forward to the opportunity to serve you.
